What we know

What we know about social for the trades

Social media won’t replace search for most of your work. It does decide whether a buyer who already found you believes you’re busy, real and good at the job.

01

Buyers check before they call

Plenty of people who find you on Google tap through to your Facebook or Instagram first. A page with last week’s jobs on it tells them you’re open and working. A page that went quiet two years ago raises a question you don’t want them asking.

02

Real work does the selling

A photo of your crew on a real job tells a buyer more than a polished graphic. People want to see the kind of work they need, done in a place that looks like where they live.

03

A steady rhythm beats bursts

Posting a few times a week, every week, keeps your name in front of people. Ten posts one week and nothing for a month does very little.

It’s the right first move when

  • You do good work and nobody sees it online
  • Your pages were last updated months ago
  • Buyers check your Facebook and Instagram before they call
  1. 01You snap photos on the job
  2. 02We write the posts
  3. 03They go out on your pages
  4. 04A buyer sees recent work
  5. 05They call or message you

The work

How we do it

  1. 01

    Connect your pages

You give us access to the pages we post to, and we agree your services, the towns you want work in and how you talk about the work.

  2. 02

    Send what you shoot

Job photos and short clips from the field, sent as you work. Before and after shots, the crew at work and the finished job all make good posts. Your team doesn’t need to write anything.

  3. 03

    Write in your voice

Each post is built from a real job and photo, written the way you’d describe the work to a customer: what the job was, where it was and why it mattered to the person who hired you.

  4. 04

    Post on the right platforms

Growth posts to Facebook, Instagram and your Google profile, so the same recent work shows wherever a buyer checks. Elite adds TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts, with Reels and Stories for the people who watch more than they read.

  5. 05

    Edit the monthly video

On Elite, we cut one short video a month from footage you shoot on your phone and post it as Reels, Shorts and on TikTok. A minute of raw clips from a job is enough to work with.

  6. 06

    Keep the rhythm going

Posts go out every week at your plan’s pace, for your brand as a whole.

Questions

Do you film the videos?

No. On Elite we edit one short video a month from footage you shoot. A phone is plenty.

What do we need to send?

Photos and short clips from your jobs, as you work. Before and after shots and your crew at work make the best posts.

Do posts go on our Google profile too?

On Growth, the same posts go to your Google profile too, where buyers see them next to your reviews and your phone number. Every plan with Foundations already gets about three Google posts a week.

When do posts start?

As soon as your page access and first photos are in. The more often your team sends photos, the more real your posts look.

Do you use stock photos?

We build posts from your real job photos. That’s what buyers want to see.

Are posts per location?

No. We post once for your brand.

Are paid boosts included?

No. Paid boosts, film shoots and creators are extra. Paid social ads are part of Paid Ads.

Who owns the pages and the footage?

You do. Your profiles and your footage stay yours.

Can we get social on its own?

Social comes with Growth and Elite. Book a call if you want it on its own.
